One time password (OTP) 4.1.3

When logging into online banking with Norwegian BankID, as well as when signing payment orders with BankID, you will need to provide a One Time Password (OTP).

This OTP application serves as a replacement for other OTP procurement solutions, such as an OTP generator.

If you have a BankID with SpareBank 1 and have registered your contact information in online or mobile banking, you can order this service through the app. Upon ordering, you will receive an 8-digit code via SMS and a 4-digit code via email. These codes are only used the first time you use the application. Afterwards, you will need to choose a personal code that will be used each time you order a new one-time code through the application. Please follow the instructions provided in the app after downloading.

For support regarding blind and partially sighted individuals, the installation of SVOX classic engine is required. The default support for the Text-to-speech engine PCOS does not support Norwegian. You can download and install Svox classic engine from Google Play. Once activated, please make sure to purchase support for Norwegian and English data within SVOX.

After the installation is completed, set the default language text to speech before restarting your phone.

Android 4.0 and higher include a feature called "Explore by touch" that enables easy voiceover support. However, this feature is not supported in earlier versions of Android.

Permissions:

• Full network access – This permission allows the application to access the Internet when generating a new OTP code.
• Read phone status and identity – This permission is necessary for backward compatibility with older Android versions and allows the application to access "phone calls," which was previously a standard configuration.
• View network connections – This permission enables the application to provide feedback on any network issues.

Granting permissions is at your discretion; however, we cannot guarantee the functionality of the application if any permission is denied. You must either grant all the required permissions or none at all. The permissions requested by this application pertain to your data and the application itself.

SpareBank 1 does not have access to your mobile phone data. We value your privacy and handle your information in the same manner as all other interactions with SpareBank 1.
